Assessment 4 Assessment type: Group Report Case Study (2,500 words) Purpose: The purpose of this assignment is to provide students with practical experience in working in teams to write a research report to outline the rationale, challenges and benefits provided to different businesses by developing enterprise architecture for the specified system. This assessment contributes to learning outcomes c and d. Value: 25% (Report 15%%; Group Work Activity Report 5%, presentation 5%) Due date: Week 12 Submission requirements details: All work must be submitted on Moodle by the due date. Reference sources must be cited in the text of the report, and listed appropriately at the end in a reference list using Harvard Anglia referencing style. s Assessment topic: Enterprise Systems and Architecture (ESA) design project Task details: Students will form groups with a maximum of three members in a group. The student groups are required to identify the core processes and design a suitable "ESA blueprint for a special industry". The assessment should include the use of appropriate framework and discuss on how the framework can be used for developing the blueprint of the ESA. Every group should prepare a case study on one of the below business types: Public Relations on TV To design a suitable ESA structure for the chosen organisation, the groups are required to present the following in the report: 1. Identify the core business and support functions: front office and back office processes, core information entities, transactions and information flows, material and financial systems 2. Support systems, internal and external integration 3. Provide a summary of what architecture framework used for organising the information - Students should choose either Zachman or TOGAF and provide a justification on why they believe the framework is suitable for the organisation 4. Provide a discussion on what will be the most suitable enterprise system for your selected organisation and why? The justification should be provided in relation to the business processes and not a generic discussion. 5.
