Assessment Description:

Write a short research proposal to highlight a business gap, need, and$/$or barrier$/$challenge in the Wood Buffalo region. The research will inform a business decision on whether to proceed to invest in developing a new product or service. The research proposal will be the basis of the research paper.

Instructions:

This is an individual project where you will write a short research proposal $(3-4$ pages$)$ to advise management of a new product or service that you are proposing. Your research proposal should include the following:

$1.$ Introduction: clearly state purpose.

$2.$ Background of the product or service. Are there any government legislations or policy regulations that support your product or service? Identify them.

$3.$ Explain the gap, need, and$/$or barrier$/$challenge that you intend to address.

$4.$ Explain the product or service you are proposing.

$5.$ Discuss what research you plan to do$.$

$6.$ Describe your target clients or customers.

$7.$ Propose a timeline for the completion of the research project.

NB: Recommendations are to be made and submitted to management as part of the final research project.
