This assignment is linked to your Applied learning - 1 Assignment that you have done, and it will also be linked to one future assignment (Applied Learning - 2).

Background:

• Through Applied Learning - 1 Assignment, you completed your leadership self-assessment within Brene Brown's website.
• Now that you completed your assessment, you will plan steps to improve. You can use Brene's videos and resources, and also course material, or any other external material to support your learning in areas where improvements are recommended for you.

• After you complete this Assignment, the next linked assignmentwill be Applied Learning 2
  • You will be asked to report on how did you action your plan (and hopefully achieved one goal), what did you learn, what improvements did you notice, and any further steps that you will undertake to continue improving.
  • I am sharing this for your awareness, so that it helps you with a selection of your goals, and helps with planning forward.

Assignment instructions:

1. Please review your Daring Leadership Assessment results, and the summary of findings.
2. Prepare an Action Plan to work on Opportunities for Improvement. As you discovered your weaknesses and areas of improvement, in what ways do you think you can improve on these? Chose 2-3 areas for improvement, and provide an action plan for how will you improve. Ensure to include:

• • • Goals/Objectives (Ensure to include at least 1 goal/objective that you will aim to achieve in 2 weeks, you will be asked to report on your achievements and reflections as to what did you do to carry out your improvement plan)
    • Activities and Resources you will need to complete your goals (including any articles, podcasts, videos you may watch, avenues where you may practice newly learned skills, etc.)
    • Success Measures: how will you measure your achievements in those areas
    • Timelines: When will you complete those activities?
    • Any other information that may help your planning

3. Upload your responses into the Assignment Folder (you can copy and paste your text, or upload in word format).
