The Cardinal Company processes check transactions from two local banks and uses a combination of six processes arranged in three separate cells. Due to the amount of transactions, uses a mechanized system for feeding these checks into cells (material handling).

B. Calculate the material handling cost (flow per distance) associated with the following application and flow sequence. Assume that the cost of handling is proportional to the distance. (1. Total cost is transactions x feet. 2. Cost is proportional to the distance)
