Assignment $1$: Video Streaming Environmental Analysis $($Objectives $1,2,3,4)$

Each student will complete an internal and external analysis of the video streaming industry as an individual exercise. The external analysis will cover those factors external to a particular company and therefore applicable to all firms in the video streaming industry $($PEST$),$ while the internal analysis will cover an internal environmental analysis of one specific firm in the video streaming industry $($students may choose from Netflix, Amazon Video, Voot, or Eros Now to complete an internal analysis$).$ Students are advised to seek out research sources through the Steely librarians $($online$)$ as well as perform extensive research online with regard to the video streaming industry $($PEST$)$ and for company information $($internal analysis$).$ You may also use the link in the Library Module. You need to provide evidence for your claims, and to do that, you must cite your research. You can find additional information in the PowerPoint slides in the module. In addition, a number of universities have information sources that may be helpful $($and free$).$ Students are not expected to pay for information. If you are having difficulty seeking information, use the information in the Steely Library module link, or contact the Steely Library or the instructor for assistance. Many of the Steely librarians work Monday through Friday, so waiting until the weekend begins is ill$-$advised. Students should plan on writing no more than one page, single$-$spaced, excluding any exhibits or tables, in order to cover all of the major portions of internal and external analysis. Please use the tables I shared in the video and powerpoint to complete this work and add them to the written portion.
