Problem Statement : E-Accounting Requirements Specification
In year 2014, the government of Malacca plan to stenghten and upgrade their financial management by integrating all of their district offices and agencies on-line and real-time. An efficient accounting system plays a critical role in achieving an effective financial management and this will help the government of Malacca to monitor and control the financial status at any time such as collections and expenses for the month.
In order to realise the mission and vision, the Government of Malacca awarded the computerization project called E-Accounting to MKAG Company. The E-Accounting project will be implemented in all district offices and agencies within Malacca government e.g. District and Land Office, Majlis Bandaraya Melaka (MBM), Perbadanan Air Melaka (PAM), and Account Department of government of Malacca.

Account Receivable Modules
1. Billing

Purchasing Modules
1. Supplier Maintenance

The deployment requirement include:

The system will be developed using J2EE Technology and implement as a WEB Based Application via internet or intranet. So, the software and hardware requirement include:
Software: Hardware: Network: Windows xp for client PCs Intel Pentium Xeon for - Leased line
LINUX Red Hat for server OS - Web Server - Bandwith 1 MB
Oracle 10G for RDBMS - Application Server
Browser IE v.10 - Database Server
The Software Architecture approach shall be focused before proceed to the next phases of development. Taking advanteges of Application Layer view, the system is divided into:
Front-end layer manages user interface or/and interation between user and system. Hints: Group logical functions into user services package.
Middle-end layer manages and controls request and response to the requestor with regard to business logic services. Hints: group logical functions into business services package.
Back-end layer manages the persistence data/object of the system. Hints: group logical functions into data services.
