1. Describe the sample in terms of age (abeB), sex (sexb), race (ethnic), and political party (partyb). Hint: make sure you choose the correct analysis based on whether the variable is a categorical (grouping) variable or a quantitative variable.

1. Compare men and women on mean levels of authoritarianism (authtot) and Trump favorability (trumpfav)? The authoritarianism scale assesses beliefs about how much individuals desire rigid and strict leadership with low tolerance of dissent and changes in society; high values correspond to higher levels of authoritarianism. The Trump favorability scale assesses the degree to which individuals hold a positive view of Donald Trump; higher values mean for favorable opinions of Trump. Both the authoritarianism and Trump favorability scales are quantitative scales.

1. Summarize in a brief paragraph what you found in q1 and q2 (see example write up in the video). In your paragraph, convey whether men and women differ more in authoritarianism or Trump favorability.
