Please ensure you are familiar with the Academic Misconduct Procedures. Required Tasks Note that all the following 4 tasks refer to the new system to be developed; not the existing system. Task 1: Cost/benefit Analysis (15 marks) Perform and discuss your cost/benefit Analysis. More specifically, you need to calculate the Net Present Value (NPV) and the Payback Period of the project. Based on the calculation results, do you think that the project should proceed? (10 marks) Provide an Excel spreadsheet showing all the calculations of the cost/benefit analysis. Note that all calculations must be done using the formulae embedded in the Excel spreadsheet. (5 marks) In Task 1, you need to submit your Excel spreadsheet as a separate file in addition to your report (in MS Word or in pdf format).
