$$ Scenario $-$ the CFO and CEO want us to begin to operate a "lean manufacturing"

system, which would reduce inventory, labor, and materials by $15\%,17\mathrm{.}5\%,$ and

$21\%$ respectively. However, such systems also inherently cause firms to miss

some sales, at least in the short run as the network is reoptimized.

$$ Forecasts for reductions in sales range from $3\%$ to $11\%,$ with an average of $7\%.$

$$ Run the model for all three of these forecast scenarios, showing your work, and then provide a recommendation to the chief supply chain officer as to how she should advocate for or against this proposal to go lean, in an upcoming C$-$suite meeting.
