Assignment $2$: The purpose of this assignment is to identify a business problem that you have seen either in your own workplace or read about. The final project is a research paper based on what you have identified as a business problem and how you will solve that business problem.

Identify a business related problem for a formal report. It is often easier to work on a problem in your own place of employment such as bullying in the workplace, onboarding of new employees, lack of training for new hires, communication in the workplace with the multigenerational workforce, etc. If you are not working, you may choose a company that you are interested in learning more about. Choose an article and write an article review on the topic you have chosen.

Using the Research guide on the menu bar, which connects to the NECC library website, find and review one brief $(1-4$ pages$)$ article on your topic. For this assignment please discuss the general contents of the article, some specific information in the article, and your thoughts concerning the article. Discuss what the article contributes in terms of the topic you are interested in$.$ Is it directly relevant? Does it give you ideas about a particular focus when you explore other sources? Does it appear that there are a number of other articles related to this focus?

Finally, discuss your decision about this topic. Are you going to stick with it$?$ Has the article helped you focus on some aspect of the topic that interests you and will you use the topic for your final paper?
