Objective
The objective of this assignment is for students to critically examine the structure and culture of an organization and to demonstrate their understanding of the importance of organizational culture to project management success. Student will submit a reflection of the video, based on their understanding of how organizational culture can impact the success of a project.
Instructions:
Students will view the Pike Place Fish Market video and submit a 3.5 to 4-page reflective report.
REQUIRED: Prepare your report by using the provided template (named Assg 3_ TEMPLATE), providing responses according the design of template. The entire assignment should be 3.5 to 4 pages long and should follow APA referencing style in the answers of each question.
Prepare your report based on the following categories of analysis. Answer these questions thoroughly and provide examples from the video to support your points:
- Objective: Provide a clearly articulated description of how organizational culture is
demonstrated in the video. What are some of the learning objectives of this video? How effective is this approach to successfully manage the Pike Place Fish Market project? Explain with examples from the video.
- Reflective: This part of the analysis is aimed at understanding how the group feels or interprets the video. Here the group will provide a summary of those feelings and interpretations. How did individuals feel throughout the video? Enlightened? Confused? Amazed? Stressed? Uncertain? What are the most enjoyable and/or frustrating parts of this video? Write a group summary that shows how individuals in your group believe they will be guided by what they have learned from this video. Were any beliefs and opinions changed? What are the ways individuals in the group believe they can use this new knowledge in the future?
