Assignment 3: Final Presentation (40%) Purpose This assignment is an opportunity for you to prepare and deliver a presentation. To succeed in this assignment, refer to effective speaking techniques you learned and practiced in class. In many workplace situations, you will present your ideas to your colleagues. This assignment allows you to practice expressing your ideas clearly and concisely, using your voice and body language to engage the audience, and using visuals effectively, so that they support key messages in your presentation. How to Proceed 1. Review your notes on effective presentation techniques and using visuals. 2. Incorporating the feedback you received from your instructor and peers on your introductory presentation, prepare a presentation "What is an effective presentation". Your presentation should be 5-7 minutes long. 3. Develop slides or other visuals to support your message. You may use PowerPoint or free presentation software for this. 4. Record your presentation. You may use any tool of your choice to record the presentation. We suggest using the Zoom application.
