Health care organizations are successful when they are able to bring together resources, competencies, and capabilities in ways that are superior to those of competitors. Competitive advantage for a health care organization may be based on having rare or abundant resources, special competencies, or an inimitable set of capabilities. Furthermore, strengths or weaknesses are easier to identify if health care organizations think in terms of resources, competencies, and capabilities.

Select an organization of your choice. Using an infographic template of your choosing, briefly outline two resources, two competencies, and two capabilities of the health care organization you assess as internal strengths to sustainable competitive advantage. In addition, briefly describe one internal weakness related to your resources, competencies, and capabilities.
