Assignment 3: Learning Strategy: Training Plan (30%) Purpose In this paper you will develop a training plan that will address an identified training need for a group of employees within an organization. Your training plan will outline the training content, delivery methods, active practice opportunities, and schedule. For this assignment, use the same organization and training need as in your needs analysis assignment. How to Proceed Reflect upon the goals of your training and the training objective you wrote in your needs analysis assignment. Consider any feedback you received on your paper.

Write a paper of 1,000-1,250 words (4-5 double spaced pages), including the following sections: Briefly describe the group(s) of employees to be trained. Include their role(s), such as front line staff or sales representatives or supervisors. Include their current familiarity or level of proficiency with the training topic. Revise your previous training objective to include the four elements and three components of an objective. List and briefly describe the key content items to be included in the training. Select three training methods, which would be suitable to deliver the training. Explain your choices and why you believe the methods are appropriate for both the content and for the learners. Describe how one or more of the methods provide the opportunity for active practice. End your paper with a table outlining the schedule for the training. Refer to Gagne's nine events of instruction and training design when developing the schedule and lesson plan. Include in the schedule: any pre-training interventions; the lesson plan with task sequencing of training delivery and exercises or other activities; and indications where feedback on performance during the training will be provided to the attendees.
