Good luck! Case Facts: At 10:45 pm, you receive a call asking for your assistance investigating a murder in the Hertzberg-Davis Forensic Science Center (HDFSC). The victim's name was Alexander Gettlera criminalistics professor at the university. He was found by another professor, lying in a pool of blood on his laboratory floor, with a gunshot wound to the chest. Before the collection and analysis of any forensic evidence, the police had two suspects in custody based on eyewitness statements: Mackenzie Sage is a sophomore criminal justice student who works in the HDFSC office and commonly enters various rooms in the HDFSC. She is an honors student enrolled in Dr. Gettler's Introduction to Forensic Science course and enjoyed the firearms topics. However, she recently failed the DNA quiz, and some of her classmates stated that she was very angry with Dr. Gettler and accused him of favoritism and bias. Dr. Marie Sanchez found Gettler's body. Sanchez was a former criminalist; her area of expertise is serology and DNA analysis. She teaches another section of the Introduction to Forensic Science class and has never seen eye to eye with Dr. Gettler.
