Assignment 3: t-Tests Instructions For Assignment #3, you will submit an APA style student paper answering both of the following research questions (2 separate tests): Is there a difference between the Barthel 1 and Barthel 2 scores for patients who experience a stroke? How does the Barthel 1 score differ between men and women? Before you can assess whether a significant difference exists, you will need to determine the adequate sample size needed to prevent creating a type II error for each question separately. Remember to incluse the G*Power parameters or screenshot in your paper. Select a random sample from the stroke dataset to run each of your analyses. Save each new dataset, rename it, and submit the .sav file with your assignment. [This will be different for each research question.] Finally, run the appropriate statistical analysis on your random sample and interpret the results Remember to include tables and figures from SPSS to depict your results.
