Question: Assignment - 4 An automatic - welding machine operates under 3 0 m deep down the ocean to repair ship / submarine ' s cracks

Assignment-4
An automatic-welding machine operates under 30 m deep down the ocean to repair
ship/submarine's cracks or slits. Different ships/submarines require different levels of welding
thickness. It will also detect the slit automatically by a 3D micro-depth sensing machine which
has 3 sensors (length, width and thickness) attached to the machine. The welding machine will
turn on if any two sensors of the machine find the signal 'on' through the 3D sensing machine.
The welding thickness of the machine can be adjusted by simply adjusting the duty cycle (D)
of the machine. The machine will continue to weld for a time duration THms and then stay
turned off for TLms. This ON-OFF process is repeated continuously.
Note: Here A=2,B=6,C=7,D=6,E=3,F=4,G=8,H=4.
Question:
a) State the limitations of the system developed here. Also, explain the effect of the selected
duty cycle (D) and the 'TH' time on the system.
