A 1600-word-minimum informative, research-based WHITE PAPER on an institutional problem at the University of Illinois, specifically, one that endangers the academic success of undergraduate students. This will be an External White Paper, which is what you would submit to your CLIENT to convince them that they need your help, that you have a clear understanding of the issue, and that your help would be worth the investment you are asking them to make. 2. Aform-based PROPOSAL DOCUMENT, designed to condense your research and put carefully selected information into an official proposal form. (400 words) Subject Choices Your team will choose what problem you want to research for this project, but some possibilities would be drugs or alcohol consumption, use of cognitive enhancement drugs, poor nutrition, poor time management skills, speaking English as a second language, being in a minority, having a physical disability, having a learning disability, the demands of participating in athletics, University health (or specifically mental health) services, etc. Scenario Far this assignment you will assume that you are working as a team of consultants for IMPACT Consulting Services, which often provides carefully designed solutions for problems that arise in large institutionssuch as the University of lllinois. IMPACT wants to package a proposal they can market to the Ul, but first they need vour team to show the client that they can present a clear understanding of the situation and that their help will be worth the investment. Your report will be an external document that lays out what the problem is, what the university is currently doing about it, why further measures are needed, and why the university should invest in a contract with IMPACT to develop solutions. Your company also wants you to put together a professional proposal form. The propasal portion of the assignment is detailed in a separate section below.
