Assignment #6-1 Purpose:

In this assignment, students will apply what they learned throughout the course about continuous improvement processes and performance improvement tools. With this assignment, they will need to analyze the various improvement processes and the uses and effective outcomes for each of the performance improvement tools. They will then select at least one continuous improvement process, and the applicable performance improvement tools, and apply them to the quality issue(s) they identified in the organization they selected for their project (Assignment #4-1). They will need to describe how these can be used to improve the quality issue they identified and how they can be used to help monitor performance. The submission for this assignment can be used in Assignment #7-1.

Assignment #6-1 Description:

In this assignment, you will analyze the various improvement processes and the uses and effective outcomes for each of the performance improvement tools. Then, select at least one continuous improvement process and the applicable performance improvement tools and apply them to the quality issue(s) you identified in Assignment #4-1. Write at least a three(3) page paper describing how these can be used to improve the quality issue you identified and how they can be used to help monitor performance. The submission for this assignment can be used in Assignment #7-1. You should suggest at least three improvement tools. For a list of them, you can see the attached.
