normalize this in terms of the squash load calculated in a).
c) Recalculate a) and b) for a solid square section having the same area as the W10
and W14 sections given. Use the unbraced effective length found in b).
d) Recalculate a) and b) for a solid round section having the same area as the W10 and
W14 sections given. Use the unbraced effective length found in b).
For parts a)- d), please show your calculations but ALSO summarise your solution in
table provided
e) What is observed when comparing the three cross section shapes (W, and )?
f) What is observed when comparing square to round section shapes?
