Horizontal Analysis

On the Horizontal Analysis tab of the Workbook, we will complete a horizontal analysis comparing the information for the current and prior years. This analysis will help us review how Dennigee's performance has changed compared to last year.

Projection

On the Projection tab of the workbook, we have been provided with projected percentages of change for several areas of the business. Use those percentages to complete the projected income and expenses for the next year.

Vertical Analysis

We will consider each line item as a percentage of total revenue for the vertical analysis. Vertical analysis helps us better understand how each line item on the income statement affects the bottom line.
