Assignment: Contract Changes

Managing [Contract] Changes assignment is a group assignment. Your group is self-directed and responsible for carving out the time needed to complete the assignment prior to the due date. The assignment consists of two parts: (1) four scenarios and associated questions. For scenarios 1 and 3, you group will also apply what you have learned by properly filling out an SF 30 (three total), which is provided to you in your Student Materials, Student Resources, Forms folder. Each group will assign a leader who will upload your group assignment through the Assignments tab in your MS Teams classroom.

Scenario 1

You are the contracting officer for contract W0054219P0052 for the delivery of five rail carts.Two weeks after the contract was awarded, the requiring activity informed you that they need to add two additional characteristics to the salient characteristics in Attachment 0001.These additional characteristics will change the form, fit, and function of the rail carts.The requiring activity is willing to change the delivery date to 30 days later than the current schedule as part of the Government's consideration for the contractor, Acme, accommodating this change.
