Assignment Description: Do a recommendation report that ultimately recommends ONE product, service, or method over at least 2 other options that have been compared and contrasted according to certain criteria. The frame for this assignment is that you are working for a company and they need to purchase a product or choose a new way to do something. Be fair and ethical in the products/services/methods you choose to compare. You will need to determine what your criteria are (and which criteria are the most important) in order to help you make a decision and persuade your reader to follow your recommendation. This is a persuasive type of document, but not "used car salesman" style (i.e., don't be overly aggressive or unfair or unethical). You will need to use at least 5 sources of information. This can include manufacturer's documents, product reviews, sales literature/websites, expert reviews, customer testimonials, BBB info, consumer reports, etc. Example topics: Compare 3 brands of printers for your office (pick one to buy) Compare 3 locations for a new franchise store (pick one for the new location) Compare 3 customer service models (determine the best one for your business) Format: You will need to use APA style for this report, including in-text citations and reference entries.
