Presentation Assignment Instructions

The instructor will assign each student with a topic to be researched in detail and the results to be presented before the class on the day set aside for presentations. The instructor will provide some class (lab) time and computer/ internet access at school over two days to help student get started in the right direction.

Each student will use resources provided in the school materials as well as internet resources to do their research on their topic. Please refer to the document "Internet Resources"; it is located in the class materials.

Each student is to examine his/her topic from both a broad perspective (e.g. - what do the words 'professional' and 'association' mean?), and from a narrow perspective (how does this topic related to immigration consultants and immigration consultant practice?)

The results of your research should be information that is very important to you, as well as to your classmates; that should be the focus of you research and presentation.

Each student is required to submit a written copy of their report and may wish to provide fellow students with information that is felt to be valuable.
