Length and Format:

The analysis should be between $500($minimum$)$ and $600($maximum$)$ words, excluding citations and references.

Use a clear, professional format with $12-$point font and double$-$spacing.

Include citations and a bibliography using the APA style $($minimum two reliable references$).$

Content:

$-**$ Introduction $(1$ paragraph$)$:$**-$ Introduce the work, providing the title, artist, and the context in which it was created. $-$ Provide relevant historical, cultural, or biographical information about the work and its creator. $-$ Briefly state the main argument or focus of your analysis.

Body $(3$ paragraphs$).$ Points that could be considered:

Explain the significance of the work within its genre or artistic$/$literary movement.

Analyse key elements such as theme, symbolism, tone, style, use of colour, etc.

Offer a well$-$supported interpretation of the work. Discuss the possible meanings and how the elements you analysed contribute to these meanings.

Reflect on your own response to the work and how it might connect to broader societal or cultural issues.

Evaluate the success of the work in achieving its intended impact. Consider its strengths and weaknesses.

Discuss the work's reception by critics and the public, if relevant.

Conclusion $(1$ paragraph$)$:

Summarise your key findings and restate the significance of the work.

Suggest areas for further exploration or analysis.

Submission Requirements:

The critical analysis must be written entirely in Google Docs $($no copy$-$paste from Word or any other platform$).$

The Google Doc link must be included in the document $($unrestricted and with editor$$s rights$)$ together with the students$$ name, student$$s ZU ID$,$ course and section

Once the work is ready for submission, students must download the document, create a PDF$,$ and submit the assignment in this format.

Students are responsible for producing their own critical analysis using their abilities, knowledge, and understanding only.
