Assignment Instructions

Using MLA format, compose an annotated bibliography of five sources that you will use for your Paper Three you must come up with ( topic is 21st century woman pop/R&B singers, and your social issue is gender inequality ) At least three of these must be acceptable academic sources you can find using the GSU Library. Please refer back to the assignment as a reminder of what kind of sources you will need.

The best databases for you to use within the Library's Research Databases include JStor and Academic Search Complete. Please refer back to the documents presented earlier on using the Georgia State University libraries. These tools will be essential to your success on this project. Also, remember that the librarians are here to help you, and you can get advice from them both in person and online.

Do not forget to check GSU's Library Catalog (aka "GIL Find"). GSU has a lot of great books at its various campuses, and many of them are also available online in electronic format.

For each of these five sources, you will provide a four- to five-sentence summary (annotation) of the work as described in the document in this unit on annotated bibliographies.

Then, you must provide a short response to the source, indicating what you think about the source and how you might use it in your paper.

In summary, each of your bibliographic entries should include:

1. an MLA-correct citation
2. a summary/annotation
3. a short response

Other requirements:

1. A heading for the document (including your name, my name, course title, and date)
2. A title
