Project Scenario $-$ Infrastructure Upgrade: IT System Overhaul

You work as an Information Technology $($IT$)$ Department Project Manager for a medium$-$sized Canadian organization. You are happy about a new project you have been assigned. You are tasked with upgrading the IT infrastructure for your organization. The deadline to complete this project will be December $1,2025.$ Use your creativity to come up with what might be additional details about this project.

What might be in$-$scope for this project includes, for example:

Migrating to a new server.

Implementing cybersecurity measures.

Training staff on the new systems.

You know that a project of this scope comes with challenges, for example:

Downtime Minimization: Ensuring minimal disruption during migration.

Change Resistance: Addressing employee resistance to system changes.

Budget Constraints: Working within budget limitations$.$

Include the following components in your assignment:

Review the Scope Statement for Assignment $1-$ IT System Overhaul.

Create a WBS based on the Scope Statement from your Assignment $1.$

Your WBS should be broken down into four $(4)$ levels.

Use the table format for your WBS $($not the chart format$).$

Use the example of a well$-$put$-$together WBS in Week $4$ lecture slides as your guide.
