Please choose a particular place$-$based economy to study for the remainder of the semester. For example, you can select the economy of a town, city, county, state, or nation. You may want to study the economy of your home town, the place where you live now, a destination you have visited, or a location where you want to live one day in the future. $($ I AM FROM CAPE TOWN SOUTH AFRICA AND THOUGHT THAT COULD BE INTRESTING$)$

Before you choose, you may want to conduct some quick internet searches to see if you can find data on your selected economy. Don't panic if you have trouble finding information initially $-$ you can dig deeper into government websites, chamber of commerce websites, local newspapers, and the wider web as the semester goes on$.$ In this project, you can also use your own observations and lived experiences in your analysis. In other ways, don't let "I can't find data" stand in the way of studying the economy of a place you really care about.
