Goal - To encourage students to be alert to HR strategic and operational issues in our world and to formulate well considered viewpoints and recommendations by applying course material to the issues. Approach and Format - For this assignment, focus on NIC as an organization or a hotel (choose one of these). Briefly, and in general terms, describe what NIC or the hotel does (its main activities). - Identify and discuss extemal environmental conditions and trends (economic, technological, demographic) that impact the organization now and are likely to impact the organization over the next several years. You may wish to include the lingering effects of Covid in your discussion. From these conditions, in some detail discuss the implications for human resource management activities. I am not looking for an expert level discussion for these topies.
