At its most basic, an embedded system is any computer system that isn't a general-purpose PC or server.  The operating system used by the embedded system is called an embedded operating system. In addition to GPS devices and some ATMs, embedded systems are found in a wide array of electronic consumer and industrial products: toys, kitchen appliances, TVs, printers, industrial control systems, spacecraft, and scientific equipment. For this Reflection activity, perform the steps and answer the questions below:

1. Using the information you have learned in this module, identify one embedded system in your household (your smart TV, home Internet router, etc.). Perform an Internet search to find all the information you can about the embedded operating system running on that device.
2. What operating system is that device using (Linux, Windows IOT, etc.)? If you can't find a definitive answer, then speculate.
3. Is the embedded operating system secure? What kind of security features does it have? Does it get regular updates?
4. What suggestions do you have for making the device more secure?
