At times, a manager must use some creative techniques in order to keep employees motivated.  As an HR Manager, I used the performance appraisal process as a tool to allow employees to set SMART goals. This also helped the employees to remain accountable. How would you align SMART goals with employee performance to help employees stay focused on safety?
