Question: At what point ( s ) do these graphs intersect ? y = x^2 + 3x - 5 y = 4x + 1 The solution

At what point ( s ) do these graphs intersect ?

y = x^2 + 3x - 5

y = 4x + 1

The solution I came up with was :

y = x^2 + 3x - 5

y = 4x + 1

x^2 + 3x - 5 = 4x + 1

x ^2 - x - 6 = 0

( x - 3 ) ( x + 2 ) = 0

x = 3 and x = -2

The graphs intersect at . ( - 2,0 ) and ( 3,0 )

If this is incorrect can you please explain why.
