ATI Content Mastery Series Instructions

To complete this assignment, you will complete the ATI CMS Practice Assessment located in ATI testing with the question rationales disabled. The assessment can be found by accessing your ATI testing account, selecting MyATI then clicking on the Assessments tab. Select the correct assessment for this course: RN Pediatric Practice 2023 B

Students are required to complete the following to earn full credit on the assessment:

    1. Complete the practice assessment as directed by your instructor.
    2. If you score below 90% on the assessment you must complete a focused review. Points will be awarded based on the amount of time spent on the focused review. See the grading rubric for time requirements.
    3. Students attaining a score of 90% or above may not have a focused review populated and are not held to the focused review time requirement.
    4. Complete the ATI Remediation Assignment, which requires the following:
      1. Identify 3 topics under each NCLEX Client Needs category and remediate the key concepts identified under each topic by reflecting on what you have re-learned or better understand about the concept.
      2. The reflection of these concepts should include one of the six cognitive functions of the Clinical Judgement Measurement Model (NCJMM), which follows the Nursing process:
        1. Recognize Cues (Assessment) - Filter information from different sources (i.e., signs, symptoms, health history, environment).
        2. Analyze Cues (Analysis) - Link recognized cues to a client's clinical presentation and establish probable client needs, concerns, or problems.
        3. Prioritize Hypotheses (Analysis) - Establish priorities of care based on the client's health problems (i.e. environmental factors, risk assessment, urgency, signs/ symptoms, diagnostic test, lab values, etc.)
        4. Generate Solutions (Planning) - Identify expected outcomes and related nursing interventions to ensure clients' needs are met.
        5. Take Actions (Implementation) - Implement appropriate interventions based on nursing knowledge, priorities of care, and planned outcomes to promote, maintain, or restore a client's health.
        6. Evaluate Outcomes (Evaluation) - Evaluate a client's response to nursing interventions and reach a nursing judgment regarding the extent to which outcomes have been met.
    5. The post-study quiz must be completed if populated in the focused review.
    6. The assignment submission should include the following: (1) the Individual Performance Report, (2) the completed CMS Remediation Document, and (3) the Focused Review report from your ATI account, if required.
    7. A retake is not required for the practice assessment. Once the due date has passed, faculty will enable the question rationales and the practice assessment may be retaken if desired, but grades will not be changed.

Just answer the column with topic on it and follow the submission guidelines. Thank you.
