Then "brief" it using the format in the textbook on pp$.15-17.$ READ THESE PAGES. That is$,$ put the name of the case at the top of the page. Below that, provide the citation where it is found in at least one Supreme Court reporter $($for example $"123$ S$.$Ct$.456(1998)").$ Then provide me with a brief synopsis of the facts. $($Label this paragraph "FACTS"$).$ Label the next paragraph "ISSUE" and then write a short sentence or two stating the issue to be decided. Label the last paragraph "HOLDING" and write a short paragraph stating what the Court decided and its reasons for doing so$.$ Generally, when there is more than one opinion in a case, the first one is the main majority opinion. It is followed by concurring opinions and dissenting opinions, if any. I am interested in the holding in the main majority opinion, though I would also welcome any discussion about any of the other opinions, if you want to address them.
