Create a new drawing file.

$2.$ Set the drawing units to inches.

$3.$ Draw the object shown in Figure $21-9$a using the Line, Circle, and Mirror commands.

$4.$ Create the appropriate layers. Use the following layer naming format: $$C$-$PROP$-$

DESCRIPTION$($LINE$,$ CIRCLE, ETC.$).$

$5.$ Set the lineweight and linetype as shown in the figure.

$6.$ Set the linetype scale to a reasonable value.

$7.$ Save the file utilizing the following file name format:

$$LastName$\_$ProjectNumber$\_$Date.dwg$.$
