When Bill Gates was the CEO, Microsoft was known for its cutthroat environment in which employees and teams routinely competed against each other. Gates once called Satya Nadella, the leader of the Bing search engine project at the time, into a meeting to discuss a possible software acquisition to enhance the company$$s cloud system, Azure.
