Background

Covid-19 has been a catalyst for massive disruptive change in a timeframe unforeseen and unexpected, but not necessarily, unanticipated. We are in a 'liminal' period [space] - a time between the known past the 'what was' and an unknown future, the 'next'. We know what the past was, but are unsure of what the future will be. It is a time for research, reflection, thinking and consideration as we prepare to embrace an unknown future. We are unsure, uncertain and perhaps a little apprehensive of the future. However, change is required.

What worked in the past is unlikely to be [as] appropriate in the new normal, if indeed, there is a new normal. Therefore, past norms, behaviours, principles and practices are unlikely to be as effective or relevant in a future

You are a leadership consultant acting for an industry peak body. What is a pak body? A peak body is an Australian term for an advocacy group or trade association, an association of industries or groups with allied interests. They are generally established for the purposes of developing standards and processes, or to act on behalf of all members when lobbying government or promoting the interests of the members. You will be preparingg a briefing paper for the peak body.
