Background: This homework is based on the semester project. In this assignment, you will design some aspects of the user interface for the system. This assignment assumes that you will be developing the software in-house or outsourcing. If you chose to purchase pre-packaged software as your acquisition strategy for the project, you can either submit documents corresponding to what the pre-existing software actually looks like, or else design your own interface as what you would hope the pre-packaged software would look like if you were able to design it.

Part 1: Interface Structure Diagram Using Figure 9-10 (p. 278 in 6th edition) and lecture material as examples, create an interface structure diagram for the project. There is no correct answer for how the interface should be organized. You may or may not have a home screen, a calendar page, etc. Think about what you would want the system to look like in order to be usable and follow the design guidelines from Chapter 9. Think about all the different functional requirements of the system and make sure the user has a way to navigate to screens to perform each of these functions. You can use Visio or any other tool to create the diagram (see submission instructions below).
