BAF 201 Course Project Requirements: Students will submit a 5-7 minute (minimum) oral presentation on the WACC (weighted average cost of capital) concept covered in chapter 11. The presentation MUST include a visual (tri-fold poster board, PowerPoint presentation WITH pictures, or physical props etc.). Below is an example of a problem with information that can be used to calculate a company's WAAC. This example cannot be used in the presentation. Students will use this example, as well as others from the book as inspiration to create a scenario of their own containing fictitious numbers. Students will use the problem they create to calculate the items listed below. Students may create one problem to solve for all or each calculation may have its own scenario.
