Barzamon LLC customers can place orders to the order processing center where clerks enter their orders. As the clerk is entering data from the customer into an Sales Order Database, the order management system (OMS) updates the applicable customer master data and checks inventory for availability of products. The OMS pulls the product description and price from the Inventory DES and displays the completed order for the clerk to review. The clerk reviews the order (assume there are no discrepancies), approves it and once approved, the OMS sends an order acceptance conrmation to the customer via email. The system then updates the Sales Order DBS, updates the inventory dbs to allocate inventory to the sales order, and the Customer master data with the completed order.
