Based off the feedback below, what can I do to fix the intervention plan (Behavioral Momentum Theory)

Feedback

So your assessment says it's mostly attention maintain (I'm sure with some sensory aspect) - I think you can offer tissues or have them available on a slightly variable schedule, but the tissue itself is unlikely to function as a reinforcer - that's is a prompt moreso... providing her with attention would be the reinforcer (that you may not want to do on an FR1 to start)

Plan

1. In the given case, the destructive behaviour is picking the nose which needs to be replaced with the desired behaviour of using a tissue. The functional assessment was conducted to understand the function of nose picking such as attention, curiosity, interest, stimulation, etc. The desired behaviour of using a tissue would be reinforced that serves the same functions. Sarah would be offered the tissue every time they are about to pick their nose. However, they would not be offered the tissue every time to build momentum.

2. In this case, Sarah playing with food is destructive behaviour and it needs to be replaced with using a tissue to clean up if there is a mess when eating. The functional was conducted to understand the function of messing with food such as attention, curiosity, interest, stimulation, etc. The desired behaviour of using a tissue would be reinforced that serves the same functions. Sarah would be offered the tissue every time they are about to play with the food. However, they would not be offered the tissue every time to build momentum.

3. The behaviour of licking palms is destructive behaviour and the desired behaviour is not licking her palm. The functional assessment was conducted to understand the function of palm licking such as attention, curiosity, interest, stimulation, etc. The desired behaviour of not licking the palm would be reinforced through praise and a smile. However, the reinforcement would not be offered every time but only some the time to discourage the palm licking behaviours
