A new means for production is required to become the premier freight transport broker, brokering freight for my in house trucking company, Freight Boss Xpress (FBX). The primary feature of this new production is to broker Freight Boss Xpress loads, reducing the middleman, and increasing the profit by keeping more income in house by brokering them own loads. Brokering is the foundation for funding a fleet of trucks for Freight Boss Xpress. The big benefit is that this innovation identifies the need for a in house broker and, enrolls employees into freight broker training to secure the license to broker freight and dispatch their very own drivers within the company. Current markets for trucking are both a supply and a demand. Recently with the pandemic there is a greater demand for truckers and supply the world with goods and services. Currently customers and shippers are paying top dollar to ship and receive product.

To be honest I found it difficult to complete a balanced scorecard for my idea. I was not thinking like a entrepreneur, I was thinking like a business owner focusing only on the day to day operation and fail to focus on what will make my money in the long run.

I want to ellieviate the middle man as it pertains to gaining loads for my drivers. A freight broker is someone who assists shippers with freight ready to haul by finding carriers who are qualified to haul the load. They are responsible for brokering deals with shippers and then facilitating the movement of a shipper's freight.

Some day-to-day tasks that freight brokers perform include: Researching cargo and shipping companies. Identifying carriers that perform their jobs safely. Communicating with both companies to establish shipping prices and schedules. Tracking shipments to ensure they arrive on time. It is important for to project a company image which is professional so that my clients are at ease knowing that their freight will be handled and transported with care. If I as the freight agent makes a promise to a client, I should ensure that I do everything in their power to keep it at all times.
