Based on the two inventory control methods we learned about, I would prefer a leg-based inventory control approach using the nested booking structure for a small airline. If passengers need to fly multiple segments in a trip, they will just need to pay for each leg. This will also allow the airline to receive full revenue for each purchased seat on each plane. As a small airline, the route and business structure may not be as complex as a large airline so having a simple, straightforward inventory control and booking structure would be best.
