Note that the board resolution was "in appreciation for her skill, dedication, and long years of service."  Explain whether this is sufficient consideration.  Also, compare the obligation that Feinberg had to fulfill in order to receive the retirement pay with what the employees in Vanegas had to do to get 5% of the value of the sale.  Finally, assume that this promise by the board is not supported by consideration and explain whether the board's promise is enforceable under the doctrine of promissory estoppel.
