[8 points] Neighborhood features: - Natural Surviellence: closed off streets, cul-de-sacs, parking permits required, towing company signs posted visibly on all streets, windows facing other peoples apartments and the streets, balconies and porches in all apartments, no solicitations signs and cameras, trees for some privacy and upkeep with landscaping, only residential land with two playgrounds/gym/pool/hot tub/cabanas/dog park, located next to a high security elementary school, lighting on all streets along parking and walk ways. - Territoriality: easy to enter but the exit is out the same way so you will have to circle back in order to leave, fences around the entire neighborhood, landscaping is done once a week, walkways along all apartments/along parking/amenities/fields, signage indicates where to park/how to use the amenities/soliciting signs/towing signs/dog waste rules/locks on all doors to resident areas, designated areas for pool use/dog park/mail room/gym/playground/grill/mail/garbage, rules posted and warnings for charges for not treating the space correctly, there is an amenities lounge with games/seating/tvs/VR/dog grooming/gym/kitchen that allows for community gathering and interactions. - Image: very clean, graffiti is removed within a few hours, dog waste is picked up, gym is cleaned nightly, all amenities are clean and vacuumed, buildings all look occupied and are refilled quickly, no broken windows or destroyed walls/shutters, buildings are repainted when needed and power washed, no abandoned cars due to towing and need for parking pass, area is relatively quiet during the night, walking neighbors with dogs and children during the day/evening, kids playing on the playground, dogs in the fields and dog park, families on balconies and patios, quiet mornings with birds chirping, kids hangout at the playground/pool/gym, kids playing in the fields together and with parents, kids moving across the neighborhood after school drop off, generally about 3-5 kids at a time, no signs of public drinking or drug use in the area, people working on cars outside late at night occasionally. - Milieu/Juxtaposition: directly behind is an elementary school, next to another large residential neighborhood specifically for blind/deaf families, along a passing street, a few blocks away from Aurora Avenue (safer part of that stretch), by a gas station that does have regular house-less individuals
