Question:
Because he has a gambling problem and owes a great deal of money to some scary people, Jason is desperate for money. His girlfriend Samantha works at a local bar. She is terrified that someone is going to hurt Jason if he cannot soon pay off his gambling debts. Samantha works as a waitress at a popular local bar. She tells Jason that the manager of the bar takes the cash the bar takes in each day to the bank's night deposit drawer at 2:30 AM each night - alone and unarmed.
Jason decides that this information can be the solution to all of his problems. He enlists his friend Sonny in a plan to rob the bar manager that night when he tries to make the deposit. That night, Jason stands around the corner from the night deposit drawer and whispers to Sonny when the bar manager approaches. Just as the bar manager attempts to open the night deposit drawer, Sonny puts a gun against his back and demands that the manager hand over the bag of cash. He then orders the manager to put his hands behind his back, around which Sonny binds them with a zip tie, takes the man's phone and guides the manager back to his own car where Sonny forces him to lie down in the back seat.
The two men speed away from the bank and head to Sonny's girlfriend Carly's house. When they arrive, they tell her about the robbery. She brings them each a change of clothes and burns the clothes that they wore during the robbery in her fireplace. The men eventually go to sleep. The next morning, Jason begins to drive to meet the men to whom he owes money when his car begins to make a strange noise. He pulls into a nearby parking lot where the car dies. Nervous because he is carrying so much cash in a shady neighborhood, Jason begins to walk towards the meeting spot when his friend Michael pulls up alongside him. Michael offers to give Jason a ride, and drives him to the spot where Jason is going to meet the men for the payoff of his debt. Jason thanks Michael, gets out of the car and heads to his meeting.
