Before you begin this activity, read and review all resources to help you prepare your diagram and review the diagrams of your peers.

Once you are ready to begin, return to your problem catalog created in Module One and choose one of your problems. In your initial post, address the following:

• State the problem.
• Using PowerPoint or Vensim, create a causal loop diagram and upload it to the discussion topic.
• Identify the stocks of the system involved in your problem.

Note: You can create your causal loop diagram using either PowerPoint or Vensim, whichever you are most comfortable with. Use the Tools for Systems Thinking Diagrams PDF document for guidance.

As you engage with your peers this week, keep in mind that this is an exploratory introduction to the tools of systems thinking. You are just getting started. The goal is to help one another explore problems by looking at systems that create them.
