A common example of customer-routed services are amusement parks, museums, and health clubs because they exemplify an essentially endless number of possible pathways. The customer can select one option based upon their preference or immediate needs. While provider-routed services constrain customers to follow a very small number of possible and predefined pathways through the service system. An example of provider-routed services is personal trainers while there is one goal and active mission to accomplish that mission. As they stand, I believe these processes are consistently improving with society's common needs.

An example of a customer-routed service that I thought about was an amusement park, because at the amusement park customers get to make the decision of what rides they want to go on.
An example of provider routed service is getting access to an email account. In order to access emails, we need to provide password and email id. There is no other way to access emails.
Improvement for the amusement park would be making wait times in line more enjoyable by adding certain things around like bathroom access for rides over a thirty minute wait. Improvement in email access can be made by addition more security protocols.
