Book Analysis- a Short Formal Paper

Reading, analyzing, and applying the recommendations from a book, the final product will include a high quality 3 page maximum formal memo (succinct content) with proper in-text and end of document citations. (Further requirement details will be offered in class.)

Purpose-Match the reading to your Purpose Statement: how you will communicate as an effective manager.

1.Do not use this report to tell me what the book said, that is a book report. This is a book analysis.

2. Explain what you learned from the book you read, and how you can use it in as you communicate-as a manager in the workplace-when you manage meetings, motivate, instruct, evaluate, and or discipline employees in your future workplace.

3.Develop your personal Managerial Communication skills as defined in your Purpose Statement.

4.Demonstrate your awareness of the importance and value of effective managerial communication best practices in organizations as communicate with employees, customers, peers, and superiors (depending on the skill you are developing).

5.Demonstrate application of what you will use in analysis, examples and application, in your future workplace.
