The process must be an actual existing process at a real company You cannot use any process similar to class Case Studies (hiring or appointment booking process) Your Group will define the process PROBLEM from the perspective of the business owner Note that solving this problem will provide a business advantage that can be defined by a metric measurement that would check that a solution did provided the advantage You will create an Introduction related to the Process Improvement Project You will create Current State Models as before making any changes. The team needs the starting point You will then create Future State Models to review with the team You will create a Presentation (using speaker notes) to review the project with sponsors and stakeholders Using the template below, you will submit the below 12 slides for your process Cover Slide: Company name and website, Process name, your names Introduction Slides: Process Improvement Project Who are the stakeholders engaged in the BA process (with analysis & required chart) (1 slide) What problem is the solution solving? (1 slide) What is the proposed solution? (1 slide) Cost and Budget for the project? (1 slide) Provide two key Metrics that should be measured in this Process Improvement Project (2 points) Provide 1 SMART Objective for the Process Improvement Project (2 points) Context Diagram: Current State (3 points): Highlight the following (a) Areas that need improvements (b) Where is the root cause of the problem? Traceability Matrix: (3 points): Current State Requirements in a table, numbered, described unambiguously with traceability to your Objective and Context Diagram. At least six requirements. All must be measurable. It can be a mix of functional and non-functional Current State requirements. Colour code two sections: (a) needs improvement, (b)needs to be maintained. Context Diagram: Future State (2 points): Highlight: Areas that are changed from the Current State Traceability Matrix: (3 points): Future State Requirements in a table, numbered, described unambiguously with traceability to your Objectives and Context Diagram. At least six requirements. All must be measurable. It can be a mix of functional and non-functional Future State requirements. Colour code these two sections: (a) Changes from Current State (b) No changes from Current State 11. References (if used) One Slide for each, with a Clear Heading for all and a Legend for the Context Diagrams. Follow the conventions we covered in class slides and that are in the textbooks.
